(1)Most DVR have corresponding audio input port, generally it is coaxial cable BNC plugs. Audio monitoring’s audio line needs to connect to the BNC plug in the center needle position, audio monitoring’s common ground wire need to connect to the BNC plugs shell (shielding copper net which connect to the coaxial cable). After connecting to DVR, should pay attention to whether the DVR have been opened the audio settings or not. Many brands of the DVR on the market are not opened audio function by default. Regular DVR don't connect to the video signal in case, it also can recording if individually connect to audio monitoring, but some DVR can't, it must be connected to the video signal in order to recording. In addition, audio input port of regular DVR sort by numbers, the numeric sorting of audio signal correspond to the numeric sorting of video signal, to synchronized video and audio recording.
1: fuzzy voice 2: big noise or serious interference noise 3: small sound but big noise 4:no sound. In this case, please change the IP camera or change into the passive audio monitoring. Our passive audio monitoring has been relatively mature, built-in microprocessor function, it can pickup a long distance, the radius is about 3m at usual. But normally passive audio monitoring is not recommended, unless you can't change the IP cameras. If clients require to pickup at close range, you can choose passive audio monitoring. In addition, in the case of IP cameras support linear input LINE IN, there are two kinds of connection mode:1:3.5mm earphones connector, in this case, make the audio monitoring signal output line transform into 3.5mm earphones connector, pay attention to the connection of positive electrode and negative electrode. 2:Wiring harness leads line output directly, this kind of lead output is common now, generally, there are four groups of leads : Audio input, audio output, alarm input, alarm output, and just connect to the IPC audio input. Often describe as: RIN/MIC+ (right sound channel of audio signal) LIN/MIC- (left sound channel of audio signal) MIC-GND (negative electrode of audio signal)
(3) Built-in amplifier active speaker system, a set of common active speakers are right and left, respectively corresponding right and left channel of audio line. Audio monitoring only provides 1CH audio source, so it is "mono" audio source. Audio monitoring’s audio line connect to the left/right sound channel audio line of loudspeaker box, GND of audio monitoring connect to ground wire of loudspeaker box. But in normal circumstance, audio monitoring should not be directly connected to the active speakers system, because it can cause product self-excitation (squeal) phenomenon, this is a normal phenomenon, if want to connect to speakers, you must make the audio monitoring and active speaker system have a interval distance or a room interval, and the speaker volume can't be too big.
(4) Other audio devices, such as power amplifier, sound console, the connection method is the same to the above method.
(5) It is strictly prohibited to connect to microphone input end (MIC) of sound card or sound console or power amplifier devices, otherwise may damage the equipment. Because audio monitoring contains microphone too, and it also contains amplification, noise reduction and echo processing circuit, output "Line Out" audio signal more than 1 VPP, and the MIC input don't match with audio monitoring LINE output.
(6) Notebook computers are rarely equipped with “Line In” audio input jack, usually equipped with MIC input jack and SPEAKER output jack. Audio monitoring can’t be directly connected to the MIC jack, you must buy a professional external USB interface desk type sound card, use its "Line In" port to connect.
